First off, at any setting, the straps are way too long making the pack really sag down. The bottom has no support whatsoever so even with one ferret, it's like carrying them in a plastic bag. This is the worst carrier I have ever used, and a waste of money.

I just got this carrier, and it is too warm for the climate here. There is plenty of room for one ferret, but you have to keep the zippers on the side to help keep from an escape! I am also concerned about the mesh being broken through, so supervise your pet. The straps are really long too. I am petite, and it doesn't fit, so I wouldn't recommend it for a child to wear.

If you only have one or two ferrets, this might be a great way to have a short walk, but supervision is Very important. The ferret can get out very easily. Plus, the fleece can get really warm if you walk for long distances. I would not recomend this for several ferret owners, because they can become very cramped and/or overheat, depending on the season. I do like to use it if I go to the pet store or shoping center or somewhere that will be an in and out trip. It reduces the effort and bulk of a carrier and it is a little less ovious that you are carrying an animal with you. My recomendation if you do buy it, is to get a clip to hold the zippers together, so the ferrets can not get out themselves. They push the zippers with their nose and it opens quickly.

It doesnt hold up, falls down. basically a cloth cube w a plastic removable bottom for washing Straps dont work well either, basically you have to carry it arround and try not to smother them, also annoying when they are going for a car ride and it just collapses on them while they are on the seat.

These are obviously not for containing your ferret without supervision since they can unzip it and chew through the mesh, but they work very well as carry sacks and the ferrets enjoy being able to see out while feeling secure. If you use these for long periods of time, be sure to give your ferret potty breaks as well as offering food and water about once an hour.
