This Midwest Ferret Nation 142 Cage is the best, very high quality metal bars and doors. The locks on this cage insure your ferret has no chance of escape. 2 large black trays on the bottom of each level are easy to clean, and cover each level completely to insure your ferrets legs won't go though the bottoms. I do suggest multiple litter boxes with corner locks on each level due to the size of this cage. I love this cage so much I have ordered the 143 add on to make it about 9 feet tall! You can strap hammocks to almost any part of the cage (right now I have 2 on each level) My ferret enjoys the easy to climb ramps to get from one level to the next. A suggestion would be to use the bottom level for food & litter pans and the second level for play toys.

This cage was on sale for $158 once..in the beginning. It's now $200 plus tax and shipping, but still worth every penny!!! It's easy a pie to clean. I have four ferrets, and they fit perfect together with room to roam. It's is a little bit of a pain to put together, definately need to people. The shelves remove effortlessly for easy cleaning, and the doors swing wide open like french doors. If you buy this one be careful though. On the smaller shelves, my ferret got his foot stuck in the thin metal bar. He would jump down to the second shelf only to hang by his foot. It's was horrible!! But I used tape to cover over it, and he hasn't had his foot stuck since.

If your a busy career person with kids, and your looking for the easiest way to keep your fuzzies safe and in a clean environment (since cage keeping is a daily chore) then you need to get this cage. Highly recommend it compared to anything else on the market. I've had several other cages and this one is the best by far. My two fuzzies love the room for all their hammies, sacks, blankies, octopus, tents, beds, toys, etc... trust me, you have room for all your fuzzies favorites. The only problem is the shallow trays. One of my fuzzies is not quite litter trained and is a high shooter so I have to cover the sides and back of the cage with a sheet and tuck it under so it doesn't go on the wall or floor. Extra laundry but considering all of the other pluses, it is still highly recommended. Hopefully the company will tweak that and I'll buy their improved product in a heartbeat!

I really love this cage, I purchased it for my fuzzies and it gives them tons of room to play and tons of room for toys and so on, great access and it's easy to clean.
However, a cage that is 90+ lbs really doesn't need to be on plastic casters... both of my rear casters have broken within a week of each other, and now the cage is near impossible to move without another person- and it's a little frustrating.
other than that, though, I really have loved this cage.
